Finishing
With wrong side facing up, bring bottom (Row 1) up 3 inches, and matching stitches on ends pin and sew together the sides using the mattress stitch or your favorite stitch. Be sure you have your button holes on the top flap that is not sewed down.
Turn the bag so that the right side is out. Turn down the flap and mark where the 3 buttons should be sewn. Sew buttons on the front of the bag. (My buttons are placed 1 inch down from the top, the 2 outside buttons are 1 ½ inches from the edges and the center one is at 6 ¼ inches from each side. Sew the buttons on so that they can be button through the button holes in row 25 ( the loops at the beginning and end of the row and then the skip 2 in the middle. There should be two waves in-between each button hole.)
Fasten off and weave in ends
