Yarn – Red Heart, Unforgettable, Color Tidal, used approximately 405 yds

Hook and Notions – Size Hook: J/10 (6.0mm)

Blunt needle for weaving in ends (optional)

Measurement – Laying flat width 6 inches, length 72 inches

Gauge – 1 pattern = 3 inches

Abbreviations

Ch/chs = chain/chains

Dc = double crochet

Hdc = half double crochet

Sl st = slip stitch

Sp = space

Trc = triple crochet

Special Stitches

Shell – work 7 triple crochet in indicated stitch

V stitch – work (dc, ch 2, dc) in indicated stitch

Notes – Chain 3 at beginning of rows counts as 1st dc throughout unless otherwise stated.

Pattern is Multiples of 7 + 4

CH 32

Row 1: Hdc in 2nd chain from hook and across. Turn (31 hdc)

Row 2:  Chain 3 (see pattern notes), work dc in next stitch, chain 1, skip 1 stitch, work dc in next st, * skip 2 stitches, work shell in next stitch, skip 2 stitches, work dc in next stitch * , repeat from * to * 3 times, chain 1, skip 1 stitch, work dc in last 2 stitches. Turn (4 shells, 9 dc, 8 ch 2 sps, 2 ch 1 sps)

Row 3: Chain 3, work dc in next dc, chain 1, skip chain 1 space, work V st in next dc, * skip 2 trc, work dc in next 3 trc, skip 2 trc, work V st in next dc * , repeat 4 times, chain 1, skip chain 1 space, work dc in last 2 dc. Turn (5 V sts, 16 dc, 2 ch 1 sps)

Row 4: Chain 3, work dc in next dc, chain 1, skip chain 1 space, work * shell in next chain 2 space, skip 2 stitches, work dc in next stitch, skip next 2 stitches * , repeat from * to * 3 times, chain 1, skip chain 1 space, work dc in last 2 dc. Turn (5 shells, 8 dc, 8 ch 2 sps, 2 ch 1 sps)

Row 5: Chain 3, work dc in next dc, chain 1, skip chain 1 sp and next 2 stitches, * dc in next 3 stitches, skip 2 stitches, work V st in next dc, skip 2 stitches * , repeat from * to * 3 times, work dc in next 3 stitches, chain 2, skip 2 stitches and ch 1 sp, work dc in last 2 dc.   Turn (4 V sts, 19 dc, 10 ch 2 sps)

Row 6: Cain 3, work dc in net dc, chain 1, skip ch 1 space and next dc, work dc in next dc, skip next dc, work * shell in next chain 2 space, skip next 2 stitches, work dc in next stitch, skip next 2 stitches, *  repeat from * to * 3 times, work dc in next stitch, skip next stitch, chain 2, skip chain 1 space, work dc in last 2 dc. Turn (4 shells, 9 dc, 10 ch 2 sps)

Row 7 – 110: Repeat Row 3 – 6 for pattern or until desired length

Fasten off and weave in ends
